UPSC Recruitment 5-2018: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Invites Online Application for the recruitment of 16 Translator (Burmese), Translator (Dari/Persian), Legal Officer, Public Prosecutor, Stores Officer & Senior Lecturer vacancies.   1. Translator (Burmese): 01 post
  2. Translator (Dari/Persian): 01 post
  3. Legal Officer: 05 posts
  4. Public Prosecutor: 04 posts
  5. Stores Officer: 04 posts
  6. Senior Lecturer: 01 post

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC  Vacancy 5-2018

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 35 years for post-01, 04 & 06, 40 years for post-02 & 03, 30 years for post-05. Age relaxation is applicable up to 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ ST candidates. Refer official Notification for complete details.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess (a) Bachelor’s degree in the Foreign Language concerned (BURMESE, Dari/Persian) with English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level from a recognized University. OR Bachelor’s degree with English as a compulsory or elective subject from a recognized University; and (b) Diploma in foreign language concerned (BURMESE, Dari/Persian) with interpretership or translation standard from a University or Institute recognized by Government of India for post-01 & 02, International Law and/or International Relations or International Organizations from a recognized University for post-03, (i) Degree in Law of a recognized University. (ii) Basic knowledge of word processing on computer and internet for post-04, Degree in Engineering from a recognised University or Institute. OR Degree in Science with two years experience in Materials Management (procurement, maintenance of scientific and technical stores and equipments and inventory control) for post-05, Degree in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry or Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Textile Processing or Textile Chemistry from a recognised University or Institute; or Post Diploma in Textile Chemistry or Textile Processing from a recognised University or Institute for post-06. Application Fee: Candidate have to pay Rs. 25/- either by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH & Women candidates.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Test & Interview.
