New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said it was time to make the yatra from brain drain to brain gain, adding that India and its people needed to figure out a strategy for the same.

“Earlier, there was a phrase called ‘brain drain’, now is time to make the yatra from ‘ brain drain’ to ‘brain gain’. We need to figure out our strategy for brain gain,” Prime Minister Modi said here at a Global Exhibition on Services event organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry.

He said that India’s development journey should focus on the fact that the country is going to get younger in the coming days.

“India’s human resource is our biggest strength. In the coming days, India is going to get younger. We need to focus on this aspect while thinking about our development journey,” Prime Minister Modi added.

The Prime Minister further said that India is so huge that the human resources we have are also diverse while adding that we should map out strengths.
