Sivakarthikeyan Attacked in Madurai
Popular young Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan has been attacked by a large number of angry fans of yet another legendary Tamil star, just as he came out of the Madurai Airport yesterday. The angry mob surrounded Sivakarthikeyan and his accomplice at the main exit of the airport and hurled abuses and even manhandled him.
Apparently, Sivakarthikeyan mouthed a few mocking dialogues in his superhit film, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, which was released way back in 2013. The same dialogues were earlier uttered by the legendary star in a crisis situation when his movie was banned. Fans of this legendary actor could not digest when a young actor like Sivakarthikeyan mocked the legendary actor, whom the entire country respects.
Once a popular TV channel host, Sivakarthikeyan first made his onscreen debut as Dhanush’s friend in the Kolaveri Di film, Three. He then gave back to back hits with Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam (remade in Telugu as Manchu Manoj’s Current Theega), Maan Karate (now being remade by Nara Rohit) and Kaaki Sattai. Sivakarthikeyan was in Madurai to promote his upcoming film, Rajini Murugan, which is due for a release on 25th September.
