Cinematographer Nataraj Subramaniam aka Natty, who was roped into Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Puli is a known face in Tamil Nadu thanks to his super hit movie Sathuranga Vettai . But his popularity quotient is North India is even bigger than it is in South as he has worked in many prominent Hindi movies and some well known TV ads featuring Indian cricket players.
Recollecting his most cherished memory while filming one such TV ad, Natty has praised Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni for his ability to put himself in others’ shoes. According to a leading Tamil daily, cameraman Natty had once found himself in a spot of bother as he couldn’t finish his shooting within the allotted time of two days as rain had played spoilsport.
