Deepika Padukone on Kangana Digs at Her: Will Not Say Anything Now
Deepika padukone said,I am just like any other girl living a dream, said actress Deepika Padukone. But she’s a girl, in whose shoes many would like to walk in.Dressed in bootleg denims and a printed top, Deepika looked casually chic. Taking a detour from her royal trail, the actress launched her signature line ‘All About You’ for an online brand.
So for someone who describes her own style as boring, the actress said that there were many whose style she admired – from Rekha to Hema Malini, and Sonam Kapoor as far as the younger lot was concerned. It’s all about being you and this is what I want to tell every young girl that don’t try too hard,” said Deepika.
Deepika, who will soon be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha, said that her co-star Ranbir Kapoor’s casual style impresses her. But what about the over the top dresser Ranveer Singh? She said that was ‘his own style’ and that he dressed the way he wanted to.
So with two back to back releases, was she nervous? “Yes. Excited but not nervous and it has been a great year with Piku. I am fortunate to have got the movies I did and the diverse roles to perform,” added Deepika.
Deepika’s fans, on an overdrive, wanted to know who was a better co-star, and more fun to be with, between Ranveer and Ranbir. As always, a diplomatic Deepika said, “I find these questions very silly. Both are different with their own individualistic style and fun.”
Seven years ago it was Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan verses Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Om Shanti Om verses Saawariyan). This year she is on the other side. The famed December 18 clash between her film Bajirao Mastani and Shah Rukh’s Dilwale. Yet again, a politically correct Deepika said that there was nothing to it and that ‘both films are different.
Between Tara of Tamasha and Mastani of Bajirao Mastani, she couldn’t decide who was her favourite. However, the actress was quite surprised to hear that Shaandaar director Vikas Bahl felt that if a 50 Shades Of Grey was made in Hindi, then Deepika would be the best.
Really? Vikas, we need to have a chat,” said Deepika. The actress maintained a dignified silence when asked to comment about Kangana Ranaut taking constant digs at her.I haven’t said anything before and I will not say anything now, said Deepika.
