New Delhi, Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi on Tuesday said that the police will do the needful with regard to former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)Rajesh Garg’s bribery accusations against the BJP prior to the recent formation of the government in Delhi.
“We are collecting information on the matter and we will do the needful,” said Bassi.
Earlier in the day, Garg had alleged that during government formation, he along with other MLAs had received calls offering money to support the Bharatiya Janata Party with Arvind Kejriwal’s consent.
He also alleged that all the calls were made through unknown numbers.
He further said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took the whole matter very lightly and laughed it off.
The ex-AAP MLA further said he had also lodged a complaint with the police in this regard.
