Central University of Tamil Nadu Recruitment 2015 – for MO, PRO, Registrar and other Posts: Central University of Tamil Nadu Invites applications for the recruitment of Medical Officer, Public Relation Officer, Registrar, Finance Officer, Controller of Examinations Vacancies.   1. Registrar (Regular / Deputation): 01 post
  2. Finance Officer (Regular / Deputation): 01 post
  3. Controller of Examination (Regular / Deputation): 01 post
  4. Public Relation Officer: 01 post
  5. Medical Officer: 01 post

Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit as on 25-09-2015.

  1. Registrar: 55 years
  2. Finance Officer: 55 years
  3. Controller of Examination: 55 years
  4. Public Relation Officer: 40 years
  5. Medical Officer: 35 years

Educational Qualification:

Registrar:

(1) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
(2) The candidate must have Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
(3) 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the Scale of Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade pay Rs. 7,600/- or holding analogous post.

Finance Officer:

(1) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
(2) The candidate must have Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
(3) 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in Financial administration (OR) Comparable experience in research
establishment and/or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of financial administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the Scale of Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade pay Rs. 7,600/- or holding analogous post.

Controller of Examination:

(1) A Master’s Degree with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
(2) The candidate must have Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination / degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
(3) 15 years experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or with 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration (OR) Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education (OR) 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post in the Scale of Rs. 15,600 -39,100/- with Grade pay Rs. 7,600/- or holding analogous post.

Public Relation Officer:

(1) Master’s degree in Public relations / Mass Communications and Journalism with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale OR Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in UGC 7 point scale and a Degree / Diploma in Public relations / Journalism / Media relations or equivalent.
(2) Five years relevant experience in the editorial department / Centre of any established Newspaper, National News Agency or Television or Film Media / Educational institution / Govt. dept. / PSU.
(3) Knowledge of computer applications.
(4) Knowledge of Tamil & Hindi.

Medical Officer: Recognized Medical Degree (MBBS) of any University and Registered with the Indian Medical Council and completion of rotating internship.

Application Fee:  Candidates have to Pay Rs. 750/- and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates By way of Demand Draft in Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) favour of “Central University of Tamil Nadu” payable at Thiruvarur / Tiruvarur. Applicable fees, is to be deposited in any of your nearby Indian Overseas Bank Branch after duly filling the downloaded challan.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected based on qualifications or experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and Interview.
