As promised, the makers of Baahubali released the much-awaited theatrical trailer of the historical movie. The video, which was uploaded on YouTube at 5pm on Monday, went viral within minutes, with over 10,000 views in the first hour.

Twitter too, went into meltdown with fans and stars singing praises as they caught a glimpse to SS Rajamouli’s two-part epic. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is presenting the film in Hindi and the trailer was released at a starry affair in Mumbai, and was attended by the entire cast and crew of Baahubali, along with KJo himself.

Earlier in the day, the theatrical trailer was released in Telugu in around 300 theatres across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, sending fans into a frenzy. Even after they were disappointed with last-minute rescheduling of the film’s audio launch, fans across the Telugu states gathered in numbers to witness the two-minute and five seconds long trailer.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the movie will also be released in Tamil and Hindi and narrates the story of two brothers who fight for a kingdom.

The film features Rana Daggubati, Prabhas Varma, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles and is slated to hit screens on July 10.
